Pebble Beach is home to what has been regarded as one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. It fringes the rugged coastline of Carmel Bay, which opens to the Pacific Ocean on the south side of the Monterey Peninsula. This historic property is undergoing a refresh in preparation for its centennial, where they will welcome the 2019 U.S. Open Championship.
Fairway One is a distinctive new addition to The Lodge at Pebble Beach, “… idyllically located along the iconic first fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links. This distinctive addition to The Lodge at Pebble Beach offers an entirely new and enhanced guest experience. Oversized guest rooms and the unique Palmer and Eastwood cottages provide an intimate and private setting perfect for both groups and leisure travelers.” – The Lodge at Pebble Beach
Sem Fim worked with one of the leading hospitality interior design firm’s, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), to capture their vision for Fairway One’s guest room bathrooms, closets, and built-in wet bars. We partnered intricate details with fine craftsmanship resulting in custom vanities, bar and kitchen cabinetry with a contemporary aesthetic. Clean lines, a warm stain and a matte finish brought each piece to life. Designed to feel like home, the warmth of Fairway’s guest rooms beckons its visitors to relax and stay awhile.

Contracted by Swinerton Builders, one of the nation’s top hospitality builders, SEM FIM shared ideas and offered solutions that would preserve the properties historic legacy. It was an honor to work with the legendary Swinerton Construction. They are known for their work with signature names in hospitality, building some of the world’s premier destinations.
“Our capabilities are truly custom. We build to each project’s design, specification and standards; and offer input on engineering to complement the design and its intended use. At Fairway One, the result was a refined comfort; it was a very special project.” – Ani Ruiz Chang, Principal SEM FIM
